Plaster print

Plaster print is a relief technique in which artists carve into a plaster block with gouges or needles. The raised surface prints, while the cut-away areas remain blank. Before use, the plaster plate must be hardened with glue.

Linocut

Linocut is a relief print technique where designs are carved into linoleum using gouges or engraving tools. The cut-away sections do not print, leaving the image in reverse. Linocut is also called “lino print” or “lino printing.”
