Finding a State of Mind
Drypoint ? Drypoint is an intaglio (incised) technique. In that process, artists use sharp tools (metal-pointed needles or needles with a diamond point) to create an incised image on a plate (copper or zinc). In principle, this technique gives practically identical effects to compare with engraving. The main outstanding feature is a characteristic blur on the edges of the drawing’s lines. – state VI
