Untitled

Etching ? The etching is an intaglio (incised) technique. In that process, artists use special protective varnish based on beeswax to cover the metal surface (copper/zinc plate). Next, the artist creates a drawing with sharp tools (needles). Finally, the metal plate is covered by strong acid (nitric acid) in order to dissolve the unprotected parts of its surface. Drawing ? Drawing in fine arts is a technique of creating an image on a flat surface or 3-dimensional surface. Artists can use pencils, markers, charcoal, sepia, various types of inks, and paints. What differentiates drawing from painting is that artists create relations between the tones and forms rather than between colors. Colors in drawing can be used to highlight the forms. Graphite
