The Process of Forgetting
Drawing ? Drawing in fine arts is a technique of creating an image on a flat surface or 3-dimensional surface. Artists can use pencils, markers, charcoal, sepia, various types of inks, and paints. What differentiates drawing from painting is that artists create relations between the tones and forms rather than between colors. Colors in drawing can be used to highlight the forms. Linocut ? Linocut is a relief print technique. In that process, artists use sharp specialistic tools (gouges or engraving tools) to carve the image into linoleum surface. The incised parts of the surface are non-printing areas which means that the drawing is in negative. Linocut, is also known as lino print or lino printing. Graphite, drawing ink
